About Lessons
Quinton teaches beginning guitar lessons to any age level. However, students need to be able to properly hold a guitar (does not need to be a full-size guitar) and be able to understand the concepts taught during the lessons (such as notes and rhythm). For these reasons, Quinton usually recommends that children be at least six years old before beginning guitar lessons. Students also need to allow for adequate time to practice in order to learn and be able to master the concepts and music being taught. Each student must have their own guitar for lessons and practice time. A required guitar lesson book will need to be purchased prior to the student's first lesson. Lessons are available by appointment, usually 30 min sessions. Please contact Quinton to inquire about rates and availabilities.
Quinton's Guitar Background
Quinton has been playing guitar for over 15 years. He has experience playing numerous styles of music including rock, pop, folk, country, hymns, and old-time music. He plays both acoustic and electric guitars.
